Group Vacancies - Can you help?

We are a Worcestershire based charity; our object is to promote on a local level the aims of the Institute of Advanced Motorists: the improvement of the standard of driving, and the advancement of road safety. We are all volunteers.

Currently due to recent retirements, we are in need of

  • Minutes Secretary (7 evenings per year),
  • Group Meeting Organiser (4 meetings a year) and a
  • Webmaster (to continue updating this site or to make a new one if preferred).

    Congratulations to the following on passing your Advanced Driving Test and welcome to the Group and IAM as Full Members. Together with your Observers you have put much time and effort into obtaining these passes and may you maintain the standard.

    Skid Control Courses

    Whilst not a compulsory part of the advanced driving course, we strongly recommend skid control training to all as an instructive and enjoyable half day out for you, your family and friends.

    The cost varies depending on the venue, the nearest to our Group is at Throckmorton airfield, which is run by West Mercia Constabulary.
